
Welcome! I’m Kelly, woman, mother, wife, human, on a beautiful journey of self-discovery and coming back to my body after years of living with a dysregulated nervous system, chronic stress, perfectionism, anxiety and staying small.
My greatest passion is supporting women to return to their body, to regain an intimate connection with and knowledge of themselves. To develop techniques to build nervous system tolerance, befriend the body, rediscover intuition and knowing. I know this deep connection back to self supports us as women to nurture, firstly ourselves, and then others, our children, our community. To reconnect, to rebuild all that we have lost in our modern, busy lives.
I’m a somatic practitioner and highly experienced physiotherapist, with expertise in women’s and pelvic health. My practice is grounded in somatic trainings including yoga and embodied movement, meditation, breath awareness, grounding and more. I have over 20 years yoga practice experience, and am a certified yoga and mediation teacher. No dogma. No spiritual bypassing.
I have worked with thousands of women over more than 15 years as a physiotherapist in various stages of life, including pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and the transition through menopause. I love supporting women to return to the things that bring them joy after birth, surgery, prolapse and incontinence, from walking and yoga to high level sport, triathlons and horse-riding. To regain a sense of confidence and ease in themselves. To feel deeply connected to their own body.
I have walked the path of ongoing healing from deep trauma and all my offerings are trauma-informed, having completed training with trauma and nervous system experts such as Peter Levine, Gabor Mate and Irene Lyon. My work is grounded in nervous system awareness and the impact that trauma and stress can have on the body and nervous system, and I know there are no “hacks” when it comes to returning to the body, it takes time and practice, patience and imperfection. It takes deep acceptance of the human experience, an understanding that all sensations are signals from the body, something to be heard and felt, not ignored, minimised and escaped.
I’m passionate about supporting women to become their most regulated and connected selves, so they can raise regulated, connected children. A better future for humankind.
I’m a lover of a good book, lazing in the sun like a lizard, moving my body in ways that feel good, and taking time to stop and smell the roses.
